Manufactured circa 1833 to 1835 . Lock plate marked "DERINGER / PHILADEL". Floral engraving featured on the fish sculpted hammer, lock plate, upper tang and breech plug. The trigger guard, wedge escutcheons, forend cap, and stock inlays are German silver. Stock has checkering on the bird head grip. Complete with ramrod.

Condition: Very good. The barrel has a mottled brown patina with the remaining metal surfaces having a smooth dark patina. There is some minor pitting and limited minor spotting. The German silver is fine. The revarnished stock is good with some chipping around the lock plate, some minor handling marks, a couple dents on the butt, and wear in the checkering. Mechanically functions, but hammer sticks back at full cock occasionally.
