1855, involves the transfer of a lease on

Burd Street, between Front and Second. It is
signed by a Philadelphia alderman and
sealed with a city seal. The indenture is
from Jane Barrett to Michael Seibert and Wife
(Margaret). It is signed by Jane Barrett
(unusual to be SIGNED by a woman) as well
as Seibert and by a witness, W.A. Patrick. The
alderman's signature is elegant but illegible.
The Recorder of Deeds signed as
Williamson.
<p>@22 x 27 inch open. 5-3/4 x 8-1/4 inch folded.
The top of the document is cut away in a large
curve. It is creased and there is light wear and
and soil on the outside of the creases. The
parchment is crisp, heavy and clean. There
are one or two tiny edge tears.
<p> Quite a lovely piece for the collector, made
even more interesting by being signed by a
woman.<p>Please see our inventory for more fine antiques. </td></tr><tr> <td> </td></tr><tr> <td>Reference #: 592doc</td></tr><tr><td>Condition:Very Good</td></tr><tr><td>Year:1855</td></tr><tr><td>Country:USA</td></tr><tr><td>Height:27</td></tr><tr><td>Width:22</td></tr><tr><td>Title:Philadelphia DEED Indenturel Document 1855</td></tr><tr><td>Materials:Paper</td></tr><tr><td>Location:Buffalo, NY</td></tr></table>
