Two DSs, one signed “Phil Rizzuto” and the other signed “Will D. White,” both seven pages, 8.5 x 11, dated January 31, 1980. Both consist of agreements between Rizzuto and White with WPIX, Inc., with the former two agreeing “to render exclusive artistic and professional services as a sportscaster and color man in connection with the television and radio broadcast of programs consisting of New York Yankees baseball games.” Both are individually signed at the conclusion in black ink. In overall fine condition, with staining to the first pages, and slight fuzziness to the signatures.

Rizzuto, White, and Frank Messer were the main broadcast trio that presided over an important time period for the Yankees, which spanned from the non-winning CBS years through the championship seasons and other years of struggle during the Steinbrenner era. As a radio and television sports announcer for the Yankees, Rizzuto enjoyed a 40-year career, with his distinctive style and lively play-by-play once more winning over fans and listeners. He was well known for his trademark expression 'Holy cow!'
