Peter Sempel (b. 1954)

Peter Sempel was born in Hamburg and raised in Australia. He returned to Germany in 1986. He studied American Literature and physical education at the University of Hamburg. Since 1981, he also works as a screenwriter and movie director. In 2010, an exhibition at the Kunstverein Hamburg honored his work. (tm)
