This original and one of a kind, Peter Max framed and signed drawing and stamp, is truly a connoisseur's as well as a collector's dream. During the 1970's, Peter Max was commissioned by United States Federal government agencies to, among other endeavors, produce the first 10 cent stamp and for special projects for the Federal Energy Commission. This colorful, New Issue, of the Peter Max, "EXPO'74.US10c PRESERVE THE ENVIROMENT" stamp, is on the envelope of which Peter Max created an exciting and original coordinating drawing over the entire face of the envelope. The postmark (in a small enclosed circle) on the envelope, approximately 3 inches in from the right, reads, " Spokane, WA APR 18 1974 99210". The bottom of the stamp is cancelled and below it is stamped, "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE". It is signed and dated by Peter Max. This rare stamp, envelope, and drawing is framed and has been well preserved and is in excellent condition.
