Russian philosopher (1878-1947) who invoked euclidean and noneuclidean geometry in his discussions of psychology and higher dimensions of existence. ALS signed “P. Ouspensky,” one page both sides, 5.25 x 8, December 15, 1928. While at the Hotel Solferino, Ouspensky arranges a meeting with a gentleman named Lawton and friends. In full: “I am staying here two days more and I shall be very glad to see you and your friends. I can call tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5 o’clock. If it is convenient please leave the message by telephone at Solferino.” In fine condition, with central horizontal and vertical fold, with a partial separation along horizontal fold, with the fold also passing through a few letters of signature, and a uniform shade of mild toning.
