World welterweight champion from 1926 to 1927. Notarized DS, signed “Peter Latzo and Charles B. Johnston,” one page, 8 x 13, February 20, 1928. One year athlete-manager agreement between Latzo and Johnston with Latzo receiving 66 2/3% of all money, and Johnston agreeing “to use his best efforts to secure remunerative boxing contests, exhibitions, and vaudeville performances for the athlete.” Signed at the conclusion in black ink by both parties. In very good condition, with even overall toning, several partial fold separations and edge tears, including one to the notary seal, and scattered light soiling. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
