An impressive mounted metal coat-of-arms for the Peruvian capital of Lima, affixed to a shield-shaped black wooden base (outside measurements 23x25cm), seemingly presented to a departing Canadian diplomatic family in July of 1968. Latin texxt in large raised letters around sheield, being supported by two eagles: "HOC SIC NVM VERE REGVM EST" (roughly, "this is the true sign of the kings"). With two screws attached at top on back, ready for hanging
