Persian Bolt Action Pressure Test rifle
This is an excellent example of a Persian ammunition pressure test bolt action rifle. Made without provisions for a front sight, with the rear sight area converted to contain the test assembly. A double anvil assembly is fitted in place, the upper screwed in place with a brass disc (not included) and the lower tapped into the barrel, driven by the gases of the fired cartridge into the disc. The top of the anvil screw is marked "KAMAX / 10K". The bolt assembly and bolt release are marked with mismatched numbers, otherwise there are no other visible numbers on the gun. Mounted with a smooth one piece pistol grip stock with a flat buttplate and a sling swivel on the rear barrel band.
BBL: 29 1/2 inch round
Stock: walnut
Gauge: 8mm
Finish: blue
Grips:
Serial Number: NSN
Condition: Excellent. With the exception of a moderate sized area of minor oxidation and flaking on the right side of the chamber, the rifle retains 95% original finish with some scattered minor spotting, thinning on the trigger guard and a smooth brown on the bolt handle. The stock is very fine with a small minor crack on either side of the chamber and overall minor dents and dings. The action is fine.
