Period copy of Smith & Wesson DA frontier revolver, by Orbea Hermanos of Eibar, Spain, marked Model 1916 on barrel, 10.35mm, nickel plated, hard rubber grips showing 1914 on top of each grip, probably made for export toMexico during the Pancho Villa era. The revolver shows 90-95% original nickel, some minor scratching, just beginning normal age. The trigger guard shows 50% blue, the hammer and trigger show 75% case hardening. Thebore is excellent, the action is working but trigger not returning and the ejector is sticking. The grips are good. Est.: $250-$500
