Perazzi pigeon gun, 12ga over/under, early manufacture, cased with extra stock and accessories, serial #31940. The gun shows 28” barrels, choked “Improved Cylinder” over “Cylinder” with a hand-filed ventilated rib,single trigger, auto ejector, rounded pistol grip, blued finish, checkered select straight grain walnut stocks. The gun measures 13-3/4” to the end of the wood, 14-5/8” to the end of the hard rubber European type pad. The barrels show no importers, only Perazzi markings, and remain in near fine condition with 96-98% original blue. The frame shows 96-98% blue with some slight natural toning from age. The stocks are very good plus tonear fine with some minor handling and use marks, and some slight crazing to the varnish and only limited use. The box contains an extra Perazzi stock fitted for this gun, showing squared pistol grip with flat bottom, stock measures approx. 14” to the end of the wood, 14-3/4” to the end of the pad from our judgment of where the trigger would fall.
