<B>Pennsylvania State Fencibles Parade Coatee,</B></I> ca. 1900, heavy red wool with white trim, gold braid on sleeves and face, 18 mixed Pennsylvania State Fencible eagle staff buttons with Horstmann Bros. and N. Snellenburg backmarks. Minor fraying and mothing, fine condition. A garish uniform by any standard that would have appealed to a Sousa bandsman.
