Pennsylvania April 3, 1772 40s Very Fine-Extremely Fine. A well-printed, beautifully signed example of a rather rare note. Almost 34,000 pieces were printed for each of the other eight denominations of this issue, but only 5000 examples of this 40s note were made. It's also the only denomination of the issue that is printed in red and black. We've seen less than a half dozen of these in 40 years of dealing in Colonial Currency. A lovely example of a scarce and very underrated Colonial note. A couple of nicks are mentioned for accuracy.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
