''Peanuts'' Signed Strip
“Winners will be notified after the auction ends and once all bids have been processed to determine the winner for each lot”
Excellent and original four-panel ''Peanuts'' strip, dated 31 March 1971 with a ''United Features Syndicate'' label notating the 1971 copyright. Signed boldly ''Schulz'' along the side of panel four. In the midst of a Peanuts baseball game, Schroeder as catcher humorously mocks Charlie Brown's pitching skills: ''One finger will mean a straight ball, two fingers will mean a straight ball, three fingers will mean a straight ball, four fingers will mean a straight ball…'' To which Charlie Brown replies, ''I have a sarcastic pitcher''. Strip measures 29'' x 7.25'' with one fold running through center, framed to an overall size of 37'' x 15.75''. Near fine condition.
