This also has a honeysuckle wood grip with rawhide and English trade blanket clothe. The Ghost Dance (or Nanissáanah) was a Indian religious movement from the teaching of Northern Paiute spiritual leader Wovoka that, when done properly, would reunite the living spirits with those of the dead. The rattle is from circa 1890. Measures 12 1/8"l x 5.25"w.
