Fountain pen signatures of pianist Paul Wittgenstein and violinist Manuel Quiroga on an off-white 6.25 x 5.25 album page, also signed on the reverse by Czech soprano Jarmila Novotna. In fine condition, with light foxing.

The older brother of philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein, Paul was a concert pianist (1887-1961) who, after losing his right arm in World War I, devised novel techniques to play pieces previously regarded as impossible for a five-fingered pianist. Quiroga (1892-1961) was a Galician violinist considered 'Sarasate's spiritual heir,' whose career was cut short due to injuries sustained in a traffic accident in 1937.
