A flight-flown stainless steel tie down, used to secure equipment during the Saturn V launch and later in the zero-gravity condition in orbit. Screw-in type tie down measures 1.75” long with a thin woven cord tied through a hole in the center. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Weitz, which reads, in part: “The stainless steel tie-down…was launched on the Skylab space station using a Saturn V rocket…I removed this tie-down from one piece of equipment and kept it as a memento of my 28 day flight.”
