<B>Paul Vincze Silver Medal Group Lot.</B></I> Paul Vincze (1907-1994) was one of the most original, influential, and artistic sculptor-medalists of the 20th century. This group includes five 38-mm medals, each engraved by the world famous artisan: one struck in 1952 with the portraits of President and Mrs. Harry S. Truman, with blank reverse; one featuring the bust of President Truman, on the reverse a woman and a boy, issued to commemorate the Truman Library and dated 1957; a 1953 piece commemorating Queen Elizabeth II's coronation, dated 2nd of June 1953; a fourth medal, also struck for the coronation; and one issued to commemorate the Mayflower landing dated 1620-1957, a strange commemoration of 337 years. All the medallions have a matte finish and are Uncirculated.
