In a letter of regretful cancellation, Manship writes, in full: “I find that I have got to go to Boston for the Weekend of the 27th & the 28th of Feb. and therefore will not be able to have the great pleasure of being with you & your guests at the Players. I can’t tell you what a disappointment it is to me.” In fine condition, with a small numeric pencil notation in another hand at the top right corner. Accompanied by original mailing envelope, addressed in Manship’s hand.
