Collection of Colour Magazines comprises various volumes from 1915 to 1921. Interestingly, there is some duplication of May 1918 [Vol. 8 No. 4] which features [p.89] a full colour image of Grace Henry’s The Black Shawl, captioned, “This picture, from a remote part of Ireland, emphasises the dignity that belongs to primitive people. The dark silhouette of the figure upon the sky holds the attention, and the gull suggests the wildness and freedom of the Atlantic Shore.” Also includes a copy of the August 1936 issue of Esquire Magazine. A desirable archival collection.
