A view along a street in the village of Kinnity, Co. Offaly, painted in the late 1930s when Egestorff was living at Baldoyle. A work by the same title was shown at the WCSI in 1939. Both works precede his purely abstract compositions, yet even in this small watercolour, Egestorff's interest in form and tonal balance are evident.
