Paul Clark Race-Worn Fire Suit
Paul Clark race-worn fire suit from his post-NASCAR days in the 1960's-1970's. Tan Hinchman Nomex suit features ''Paul Clark'' written in red cursive above left zipper pocket. Right chest features ''UNITED STATES / AUTO CLUB'' patch, right shoulder features ''HINCHMAN / NOMEX'' patch with two checkered flags and back of suit features large 14'' sponsor patch that reads: ''ROLLING HARDWARE''. Clark was well-known for Badger Midget racing and won the 1982 championship. But in 1988, Clark was severely injured in a race and was in a coma for three months. Measures 20'' at the shoulders with 23'' sleeves and 29'' inseam. Suit appears to have missing patch on right chest, some loose stitching, broken zipper on the front pocket and some small marks and holes. Very good condition. With Heritage Auction COA.
