Paul Bransom (American 1886-1979) Paul Bransom had a successful career as a painter of animals and was called the "Dean of American Animal Artists." He was self-taught and worked as a draftsman before moving to New York at age 17 to work as a cartoonist. Throughout his career, Bransom created hundreds of animal illustrations for magazines and books, including Jack London's Call of the Wild and Kenneth Graham's Wind in the Willows. His paintings also appeared in the Seagram Sportsman Calendars. Bransom believed in painting from nature, and observed wildlife from his summer homes in the Adirondacks and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Lots may have reserves or minimum selling prices. This confidential figure is set by consignor & TIME & AGAIN, INC. TIME & AGAIN, INC. will exercise all reserve bids. The record of sale kept by the auction house is final in any dispute. Videotapes used for confirmation.
The purchaser assumes complete responsibility for items at announcement of the word "sold".
The purchaser agrees purchases will be removed within 4 days of sale. The auction house items may be resold if terms for removal are not met. A minimum storage fee of $25 per month, not to exceed $100 per month will be charged to buyers & consignors for items left at our gallery.
