Popular and distinctive country-and-western “crossover” star (1932–1963) who achieved iconic status upon her death in a plane crash at the age of 30. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 Decca Records publicity photo, signed in blue ink, “Sincere thanks, Patsy Cline.” Signed again on the reverse in blue ballpoint, “Sincere thanks, Patsy Cline,” and also signed by Larry Lasch, Larry and Oscar Sullivan, and Curt Burrell. Also at the top of reverse is a notation about the Patsy Cline fan club. A bit of light irregular ink adhesion to signature on image side, a few creases and surface marks, and moderate surface impressions from signatures and notation on reverse, otherwise very good condition. This particular image dates from 1961, and was taken not long before her near fatal car accident in June of 1961. Despite the flaws a crisp and desirable image.
