Popular and distinctive country-and-western “crossover” star (1932–1963) who achieved iconic status upon her death in a plane crash at the age of 30. Vintage glossy 7.5 x 9.5 Rush Studios portrait, which bears a printed signature on the image side, signed and inscribed on the reverse in ballpoint, “To Peggy, your friend, Patsy Cline.” Trimmed edges, small tear and paper loss to right edge, light overall creasing, and mild silvering to darker edges of image, otherwise very good condition. The signature is largely unaffected by the photo’s flaws.
