Stunning vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Patsy Cline, signed on the front in blue ink, “Your friend, Patsy Cline,” and also signed and inscribed on the reverse in blue ink, “To Ruth, Your humble friend, Patsy Cline.” And a vintage glossy 8 x 10 Abbott Record Company promotional photo of Jim Reeves, signed in black ink, “Sincerely, Jim Reeves.” Cline’s photo rates in fine condition. Reeves’s photo has scattered light surface marks and creases, a few fingerprints, and signature just a shade light, but otherwise fine condition.

These two photos are accompanied by a collection of 53 signed items, consisting of signed photos, programs, signatures, and a book, many inscribed to Ruth Slack of WIBF-FM radio. Signers include: Loretta Lynn, Porter Wagoner, Dolly Parton, Ernest Tubb, Hank Snow, Glenn Campbell, Marty Robbins, Kitty Wells, and Lester Flatt. Remainder of collection rates overall fine condition.

These photos and concert programs come from the collection of Ruth Slack of WIBF-FM Radio in Jenkintown, PA. WIBF did the area’s first Country music show hosted by station manager Doug Henson and ‘The Country Girl,’ Ruth Slack. Slack was friends with many Country stars, most notably Ernest Tubb. She did the liner notes for his, "A Good Year for the Wine" album.
