<B>Patriot Henry Dearborn Document Signed,</B></I> “<I>H Dearborn</B></I>”, partly-printed, one page, 8.25” x 13”, Boston, Massachusetts, June 20, 1809. Dearborn, acting as collector for the Port of Boston, signs here that the Schooner <I>Nancy</B></I> has arrived with a cargo of foodstuffs and “<I>Tarr</B></I>”. Henry Dearborn (1751 - 1829) was a physician by trade and a soldier by circumstance. He answered the martial call during both the American Revolution and the War of 1812, having Dearborn, Michigan named in his honor. Loss to right margin, one diagonal fold, even browning.
