Patrick Henry document signed as Governor of Virginia. Dated 7 November 1786 from Richmond, Henry grants 900 acres of land ''on the South West Side of Cumberland River'' to Revolutionary War veteran Richard Anderson. Partly-printed 14'' x 12.75'' vellum document is signed ''P. Henry'' to lower right. Remnants of red seal still present in the lower left corner. Minor soiling and toning, more heavily along folds. Very good condition.
