A red, white and blue pieced bottom. Finely quilted with red and blue borders. White work areas hand stitched in laurel leaf swirl rosettes. From a group of handmade quilts, most from the hand of or property of Nina Wilson Creel, who lived in the Seven Mile House, Davisville, West Virginia (near Parkersburg). Turn of the 20th Century. 77 wide, 80 long. Condition: Some staining and toning at edges.
