Baptistam Recurti, 1740. 8vo [22 by 14 cm], contemporary brown full calf; spine with five raised bands, richly decorated in gilt; red morocco spine label, gilt; board edges hatched in gilt. Finly engraved allegorical frontispiece by Joseph Juster after Giovanni Segala; title printed in red and black, with woodcut printer’s device; xxxx, 246 [misnumbered 146], (14) pages; numerous fine engravings of coins of the Roman emperors and later rulers throughout.
