Patrick “Pat” Floyd Garrett (June 5, 1850 – February 29, 1908) was an American Old West lawman, bartender, and customs agent who was best known for killing his former friend, Billy the Kid. He was also the sheriff of Lincoln County, New Mexico. George Curry (1861-1947) a long time friend of Garrett’s was appointed Governor of New Mexico by Theodore Roosevelt. He was a member of the Rough Riders. Included in a signed letter of appointment by Curry. Certificate of authenticity by Signature House.
