<B>Pat Boyette - "Sandman" TV Series Promotional Illustration Original Art (undated).</B></I> Multi-talented cartoonist Pat Boyette had careers in radio, TV, and film before he ever started drawing comic books for Charlton Comics in 1966. This intriguing mixed-media piece was most likely done as a purely speculative project while Boyette was working in TV in San Antonio, Texas. The "Sandman" character has themes and characteristics in common with Boyette's character "The Spookman," who appeared in <B>Charlton Premiere</B></I> #1 in 1967.
