Original 1979 pressing of *In the Heat of the Night*, the debut studio album by Pat Benatar, released on Chrysalis Records (catalog CHR 1236). Featuring the hit singles “Heartbreaker” and “I Need a Lover,” this record launched Benatar’s career as a trailblazing female rock vocalist. The album blends hard rock, pop, and new wave elements, setting the tone for her string of platinum releases throughout the '80s. Cover is in VG+ condition with only light edge wear and gloss retention. Vinyl visually grades VG+, untested. A must-have for collectors of women in rock and late '70s power pop.
