Rare; we have no records of selling this before. According to a mine report in UNR's Special Collections, this company operated a mine near Hamilton in White Pine County. This is confirmed by a January 28, 1881 Eureka Sentinel article that mentions a land patent to this company (though it spells it as "Passayunk"). No. 31, issued for 750 shares in Philadelphia in 1868. Signed by president Wm. Patterson and secretary WB Atkinson. Not cancelled. Black border and print, red seal, and two vignettes: Native American on horseback and mine hoisting scene. Printed by John Alexander, Phil. Many folds and creases, tear along center horizontal fold. 7.5 x 11.5"
