A late 19th-century Continental porcelain partial service, probably German, comprising a covered tureen with stand, dinner plate, handled cup with underplate, shaped serving platter, and a small covered condiment pot with stand. The pieces are decorated with delicate floral sprigs in mauve and pale blue with sepia-toned foliage on a white ground, with molded rococo-revival borders and red line rims. Only two pieces retain a green crossed-device mark with painted numerals, and the group is best catalogued as a partially marked Continental service rather than assigned to a specific factory. A decorative table grouping with strong tureen form and coherent floral decoration. Chip to one platter and minor damage to another serving piece; otherwise light general wear consistent with age and use.
