According to Wilson and Bobrink, the complicated mold needed for casting this stick's handle suggests that it was intended for mass production, but only one example is ever thought to have been made. Stamped on the bottom with "R. PETERSON-RSTR. AMADOR CITY, CAL." This stick measures 12" inches long and constructed from cast aluminum for the handle and steel for the spike, hook, and thimble. Mr. Peterson confirmed he did a minor restoration on this stick for Errol Chrisman years ago, and it is the finest of its kind he's seen. Wilson-Bobrink #102. State: City: Date: ID#46759
