Parker VHE-grade 28ga double-barrel shotgun, 26” barrels, Parker single trigger, auto ejectors, “00” size frame, English style straight stock with beavertail forend and checkered butt, serial number “238131”. Left breech of barrel marked “skeet in” right breech marked “skeet out” showing Parker overload proofs, “28” on rear barrel lug and “00” for small lightweight frame. Left forward of breech shows three-sided square shape with open bottom, right side shows “V” in circle. The barrels show 90-95% original blue, some losses at the edges, some minor erosion, scratches, just normal aging. The frame shows 40-60% original case hardening, evenly drifting to patina with some strong areas of rainbow colors mixed in. The trigger guard shows traces of original blue going to grey patina. The stocks are very good plus with fairly sharp checkering, some minor bruises, scratches, normal handling and use. 70-80% original varnish remaining. The checkering on the wood butt is only slightly worn. The action is tight, the interior near excellent. A very desirable combination of small gauge and configuration. Est.:$15,000-$30,000
