Parker VHE grade 16ga double-barrel shotgun, 28” barrels, “0” size frame serial number “143384”, circa about 1908. Old tag attached reads “right .028 improved modified, left .027 improved modified.” The metal surfaces have been lightly cleaned and the barrels show approx. 30-40% original blue, some brown patina on areas of light cleaning long ago. The frame show 20-30% case hardening drifting to silver with some light cleaning and polishing as do the mounts and trigger guard. The stocks are good with some minor wear to the checkering on the forend, approx 30-50% original varnish evenly wearing, very good wood to metal fit between the frame and stock. The stock is its original length, showing correct buttplate and pistol grip cap. The action is tight, bores are shiny. Est.: $1,500-$3,000
