Parker P-grade 12ga side-by-side shotgun, with carrying case, serial #71387. The gun shows factory 30-1/8” Damascus barrels, which are choked Cylinder (right) and Modified (left). Double triggers, standard extractors. The barrels show 50-60% of their original finish and most of their original pattern, just some slight aging at high points and edges, good sharp barrel address, and very good plus bores. The frame shows a greypatina with faint traces of patina, some very bright case hardening on the interior of the action. The stock measures 14-3/8” to the end of the wood, 14-5/8” to the end of the original Parker buttplate. The gun showssplinter forend and checkered pistol grip with correct Parker grip cap. The stocks are good to very good with normal aging, small imperfections and use. The buttplate shows a couple of chips, at least very good for itsage. Along with a genuine to the period gun case with patent markings “69” on lock, of the type shown in The Parker Gun, page 156 #38, where it is described as ‘a seamless case’.
