Parker GHE grade 16ga double-barrel shotgun, 30” barrels, auto-ejectors, double triggers, serial number “240422” in very good plus original condition. The gun shows approx. 90-95% original blue, evenly thinning and toning, some losses at the edges, some slight scratches, but generally very good overall. The barrels show Parker overload proofs, the left barrel shows the initials “OG”, the right barrels shows the initials “PS” with the numeral “3” and a small numeral “9”. The rear lug shows the numeral “16” and “1” indicating the size of the frame. The barrel shows Parker special steel marking. The frame retains approx. 40-60% original case hardening drifting to silvery grey at the edges and high points with some very brilliant rainbow colors around the back and top edges of frame, and particularly beneath the lever. The stocks are good to very good with fairly sharp checkering, minor scratches dings and mars, some minor losses of finish, and an overcoating of clear shellac or lacquer. Stocks are generally very good overall, and wood to metal fit is very good. The stock measure approx. 13-3/8” to the end of the wood, approx. 14-3/8 to the end of the pad. The action is tight, the bores are near excellent. Est.: $2,500-$5,000.
