Parker GHE-grade 12ga double-barrel shotgun, 30” barrels, double triggers, auto ejectors, serial number “236968”. Made circa 1933, on 1-1/2 frame. Right barrel choked .025 modified, left barrel .037 full. The barrels show Parker special steel marking on rib, the bottom of breech marked Parker overload proved. The right barrel is marked “HT/A”, “PS” in a circle with a numeral “3” and the numerals “12”. The rear lug is marked “12” and “1-1/2”, indicating frame size. The barrels retain approx. 90-95% original blue with some slight thinning at the edges, slight scratches, and just beginning age. The frame shows 20-40% case hardening, lightly cleaned in some areas to natural metal, some areas of minor erosion and pin prick pitting and some bright hardening where protected, particularly under the lever and on the inside of the action. The stocks are good to very good with some scratches and mars to the varnish, some slight wear to the edges of the checkering but still very sharp with just some normal ages and minor bruises from use. The original buttplate is retained, the gun is mechanically sound, the bore is still bright. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
