Parker DHE-grade 12ga double-barrel shotgun, factory 30” barrels, Parker single trigger, auto ejectors, pistol grip stock, English style leather covered pad added, serial number “218099”. The barrels show Parker overload proofs, the left barrel marked “JG” in a circle, the right barrel is marked “T” in a circle, with “HT/A” and the numeral “4” at the center of the breech, the numeral “3” near the face of the breech. The barrels are marked “titanic steel” and show approx. 95-98% original blue, some slight thinning and scratching at the edges and muzzle, but still crisp and sharp. The frame shows 50-70% case hardening, drifting at the edges, particularly at the bottom of the frame, but still colorful with some rainbow hues where protected. The trigger guard shows 20% original blue, evenly thinning. The gun is tight, the bores shiny. The stocks are very good plus, with lightly refreshed checkering, excellent wood to metal fit, with most of their original varnish. The stock measures approx. 13-1/2” to the end of the wood, approx. 14-1/4” to the end of the thick leather pad. The engraving is a classic DHE style with dogs on each side of the frame and game birds on bottom. The gun is contained within an early Browning velvet-lined luggage case which has been altered for carrying this gun.
