Parker 12ga VHE grade side by side shotgun, 26” barrels in fine to excellent original condition, showing Miller single trigger, serial #238499. The gun is choked Improved Cylinder (right) and Modified (left). Showsstandard pistol grip stock with exceptional grain. The barrels show 95-98% original blue. The frame shows 90-95% original case hardening just drifting slightly. The stocks show some slight handling, minor scratches,and are near fine overall. The triggerguard shows 75-85% blue, the stock measures 13-1/2” to the end of the wood, 14-5/8” to the end of the hard-rubber recoil pad. The bottom of the breech of barrel shows 1-1/2 for size offrame, Parker overload proofs, a “K” with a heart stamp. No Parker markings on rib or barrels (never marked). A very nice Parker with just a little use. Locks tight, bores excellent. Parker Association letter confirms shipped June 11th, 1938 and the features and grade also confirmed. The 1938 Remington catalog lists the prices at $53.60, including ejectors. Est: $2,750 - $5,500
