<B>Black Sheep Pappy Boyington and Enola Gay Pilot Paul Tibbets Signatures.</B></I> Gregory “Pappy” Boyington has signed “<I>Pappy Boyington</B></I>” in ink on the front of a first day cover, 6.5” x 3.75”, postmarked January 9, 1963. Boyington's signature is bold, bright and this item is in fine condition. Paul W. Tibbets, was the pilot of the <I>Enola Gay,</B></I> the aircraft that dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Tibbets has signed a first day cover commemorating Admiral Bull Halsey's bombing of the Japanese fleet in the inland sea, postmarked March 20, 1945, aboard the U.S.S. New Jersey.
