<B>Panic #8 Gaines File pedigree 8/12 (EC, 1955) CGC NM+ 9.6 White pages.</B></I> Was <B>Panic</B></I> even funnier than <B>Mad</B></I>? Before you disagree, read this issue. It's got Bill Elder spoofing Alley Oop, Wally Wood parodying "Gone With The Wind," and madcap features drawn by Jack Davis and Joe Orlando. This was the last issue of the title before the Comics Code went into effect. On comics with white covers, flaws have nowhere to hide, and this pedigree copy has nothing to hide! As of this writing, only two copies of the issue have been certified with a higher grade by CGC. Overstreet 2006 NM- 9.2 value = $165.
