1901 Lot of 8: 1) Small, 4.5,” demitasse spoon showing the Palace of Agriculture in the bowl and Niagara Falls and an Indian in feathered headdress on the handle. The upper part of the handle has a gold wash over the silver plate. On the reverse is a picture of the Electric Tower and “Buffalo.” Made by U.S.S.C. (U.S. Silver Co.) 2) A tiny demitasse spoon measuring 3.75” with a buffalo and Indian on the handle and in the bowl lettering “Pan American Exposition 1901.” Marked sterling on the reverse. 2) Two similar spoons with skillet-shaped bowls (flat and round with a low rim). Both have a gold wash over the silver plate and both handles show and Indian head and Niagara Falls, with “Buffalo” and the Electric Tower depicted on the reverse. The two bowls are different: One shows a buffalo in relief, with “Souvenir, 1901, Niagara Falls” embossed in it; the second shows the Temple of Music in relief. Both 4” in length. 3) An 8” sterling spoon showing the Electric Tower in the bowl, and an Indian head and Niagara Falls on the handle. 4) This spoon has allegorical women in the bowl with Pan American Exposition 1901 in embossed lettering. The handle is ornate with a buffalo and Indian man on the front and Niagara Falls on the reverse. Marked “Official” on the reverse of the bowl, and “Sterling, Pat.” on the stem. Made by the American Souvenir Co. of Buffalo, N.Y. 5) Small 4” sterling spoon with Machinery & Transportation building in the bowl, and a world globe topped by a buffalo on the stem. Niagara Falls on the reverse of the handle. Made by the American Souvenir Co. 6) Silver plate 4” spoon with the Agriculture Hall depicted in the bowl and an Indian and Niagara Falls on the handle.
