Palmsqueezer pistol manufactured under trade name The Protector by Minneapolis Firearms Company, .30 caliber extra short caliber, nickel plated, rare incised carved original to the period pearl grips, serial #1456 on inner parts. The pistol shows 30-50% original nickel, evenly flaking and drifting to a dark patina, some erosion and pitting where the nickel has lifted. The pearl scales show high point edge wear from being carried and are good. The action is almost working, generally good overall and shows 1883 patent date. These palm pistols have always been desirable to oddity and derringer collectors and well-known collector/dealer C.W. Slagel often stated he knew of less than 10 with fancy pearl. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
