A tall folio album full with over 300 "samples" of Paisley designs done in watercolour on paper and then mounted in the album with tissue guards. Some are done on a type of draughtsman's tracing paper. The remains of a paper label (seemingly lettered in French) adhere to the album spine. Possibly a cloth manufacturer's pattern book
