Pair of two-tone woolly chaps with fancy basket weave belt marked Goldberg, Staunton Saddle Company Makers, Winnemucca, Nevada with documentation as belonging to famous Western personality and TV star Leo Carillo most noted for his role in “The Cisco Kid”. Leo Carillo was not only a Western TV star he was a Southern California icon who officiated many Rose Bowl parade’s and who’s family were old Californians who owned ranches from Spanish land grants in northern San Diego County and Los Angeles. The chaps remain in good to very good condition and are nicely displayed on a homemade stand. The lacing has been replaced during period use and the chaps show normal wear when Carillo was thinner probably before the war when these chaps were already old.
