Pair of nicely beaded gauntlets showing florals and fringe on buckskin with tradecloth interiors circa late 19th – early 20th century. Measuring approx. 15” from tip of finger to top and approx. 8-1/2” across widest part of cuff. The fringe measures 5-1/2” at longest point. The gloves are about a man’s size 9, and are constructed of Indian tanned doe skin, and are in good condition with some sweat staining, normal aging. The beadwork is completely intact and well executed and possibly Yakama, but definitely Northwest USA. A very attractive pair. Est: $1,000- $2,000
